In 2016 members of the Chapel felt it would be a nice idea to hold a Christmas Tree Festival and serve tea and mince pies. They wrote to various organisations in the village to ask if they would like to decorate a tree to put in the Chapel. The trees went up at the beginning of December and remained over the festive period. In 2016 there were 7 trees and in 2018 there were 18 trees. The plan was to make this an annual event but unfortunately the pandemic prevented events in 2020 and 2021.
