Some of the names we have for the participants in the competition include, Maureen Wray as a cricketer; Mary Sampson as a nurse; David Cook as a parcel; Paul Buchnell a cowboy; Dorothy Cook as Miss Muffet; Ann Waudby a snake charmer; Val Hetton as Just William; Linda Miller a ballerina; and Elizabeth Sayner a Christmas tree. Some of the other names suggested but not linked to the costume are Edna Sayner; Brenda Chapman; Peter and Geoff Thompson and Jennifer Howcroft.
