Dennis Sayner died in 1953 when fighting as part of the Commonwealth forces during the Malaya Emergency. This was classed as a guerrilla war fought between the Malayan National Liberation Army and Commonwealth armed forces. The fighting started in 1948 and lasted until 1960. We are still researching details of Dennis and his time in the military.
