Hockey was introduced in 1922 as a winter sport for the girls which they showed extreme keenness and interest in the game. After matches between the four school houses the team chosen to represent the school were V. Milner; E. Rowling; M.Goldthorpe as captain; I. Stoker; E. Craven; I. Livsey; R. Burton; H. Jackson; A. Dodsworth; A. Broader and A. Wilson.
