Clayton, Mrs J. Clayton, Mrs A. Howcroft, Mrs E. Stott, Mrs Winterburn, Mr. D. Clayton (Chairman), Mr. E. Milner (Hon. Secretary and Treasurer) Mr. G. Hill, Mr. A. Longfield, and Mr. J. Thwaites obtained funds for the shield and it was purchased for the sum of £17.00. Some of the names we have for the pupils so far are in the back are Liz Cunnington, Carol Pawson, name not known, Trevor Foster, George Dixon, no name as yet, Estelle Lazonby, Jennie Howcroft and possibly a member of the Wray family.
