The stack yard belonged to Garth House Farm and was on the other side of Chapel Street. Mr Patterson sold the farm in 1958 and the homestead became a private dwelling and the stack yard part of Milling Farms Ltd. The stack yard was eventually sold and became part of the Garth Lane development.
