The farm was owned by John Gibson in 1787. The property sold in 1908, Sale Plot 227, 2 roods 27 perches, and was tenanted by Theophilus Gibson Anson. The 1939 census listed the residents as William, Ethel and Bessie Thompson. In 1943 the sale of farm stock owned by Mr. William Thompson was advertised and Mr Thompson died in March 1944. The property is now a private dwelling.
