The information collected so far is that in1798 the land was owned by Robert Jenner. In 1908 outlying parts of Lord Lonsborough’s estate where offered for sale including Ruddings Farm let to C. P. Bussey who was listed as the farmer in the 1911 Census. By the 1939 Census the residents were shown as Stanley Flint, Harold and Dorothy Pettinger. The executors for Mr Pettinger advertised the farm, stock and implements for sale in 1941. The 1960 Census named Bruce and Jean Sellars as the residents. The farm no longer exists and the building have been demolished.
