Henry was a private in the 12th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own), service number 14658 and died 14th September, 1916 aged 21. He is remembered with honour on the Thiepval Memorial, Thiepval. There is no known grave. He was the son of Mrs. Mary Jane Ringrose, of Hambleton.
