Percy was a private in the West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own) "A" Coy. 12th Battalion, service number 14382 and died on 28th September, 1919 age 18. He is remembered at Loos Memorial, Dud Corner Cemetery Panel 39 and 40. He was the son of John and Elizabeth Ann Bainbridge, of Station Cottages, Hambleton.
